Our spacious, bright & colorful Children's Library is like a wonderland for children of all ages!  It's filled with all the latest books, as well as beloved classics. We offer computers, games, puzzles, puppets, listening kits, crafts, music & magazines! Children's Librarian Mary Jo Erickson always has fun & interesting things going on, so stop in anytime!
Weekly Activities
-Tuesdays at 10am-Story 'n' Craft Hour for toddlers and their caregivers (not in summer)
-Fridays 10am-Story Hour for all ages
Each month, (not in summer) the Children's Library hosts a family night, "Twilight Family Story Hour", and invites families with  young children to visit for a night of stories, games, activities, crafts, snacks and more!! Themes and dates vary. Please call the library for details!  776-4171
Book Clubs
LEGO Club every 4th Friday at 1:30pm for ages 7-11 (not in the summer)

On the 3rd Wed. of each month at 3:45pm, children are invited to stop in and try out our cool tech toys! Activities vary, but may include VR Goggles, Snap Circuits, Buzzbots, tangrams, Legos, architecture & science kits, gears, magnets, and low tech DIY activities! (not in the summer)

Our Children's Librarian will meet you at the Darlington Baby Pool, located at 1420 Clay St., for a fun storytime with a water theme, along with activities & water games. This program is for pre-schoolers & younger only.
